TMJ is an abbreviation for Temporo-Mandibuilar Joint. TMJ is the joint formed by the temporal bone of the skull (temporo) and the lower jaw, or mandible. These joints move each time we swallow, chew and talk. It is said that TMJ is the most complex joint in the human body.
