Watch Pete's amazing transformation story

A healthy, beautiful smile is more than skin deep! One of the most effective ways to improve self-esteem and confidence is by improving your smile. Pete certainly realized this with his testimony. His story has moved us to want to continue helping people in the community with the gifts we have been given.

Now it's Kelsey's turn.

Meet Kelsey

"When I was 16 I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, a chronic autoimmune disorder that requires constant doctors check ups and treatments.  My main focus was on treating this disease and it took so much of my time and medical expenses I did not see my teeth as a priority.  5 years later, Once I got my disease into remission I was alerted that my fiances twin sister Nichol was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I have been a part of their family for the past 9 years and this news hit me like a ton of bricks.  My focus was then turned to her.  I dropped my whole life and moved in with the family to take care of her during this horrific time.  After she passed away, the family and I spent a year together trying to grieve and recover.
It was then that I discovered a hole in one of my teeth.  I haven't even bothered to think about my oral health so this came as a total surprise to me.  I scheduled an emergency visit with Dr. Tobias where he informed me that my teeth were severely decayed and that I needed immediate attention.   I remember trying to hold back the tears as he explained that I needed multiple root canals and even more fillings.  I felt so ashamed, I remember thinking to myself, "how could I let this happen?".  My self esteem is at an all time low.  I am still battling the depression of losing Nichol and now I am facing the reality that I am not taking good enough care of myself.  To have my teeth fixed would mean that my life can finally pick up where I left off and I can begin to heal, recover, and regain my confidence. For me to be offered this opportunity is an absolute blessing and I am beyond thankful for Dr. Tobias and his team for giving me this amazing opportunity.

To me, Self esteem means to be confident in my own skin, to feel important enough to be a priority." - Kelsey
