Dr. Townsan′s Biography

Shoreline Pain Free Dentistry T. Dale Townsan, DDS Dr. Townsan, a native of Seattle, received his DDS from Northwestern University in 1965. At graduation, he was elected to the prestigious dental honorary fraternity of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Additionally, he received the Academy of Gold Foil Operator’s Award and the award for the Most Outstanding Graduate of his class by the Odontographic Society of Chicago for providing the most complete dental treatment to a patient. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Snohomish County Dental Society. His commitment to continuing education through numerous study clubs and educational offerings has enabled him to use state of the art technology to provide exceptional health care and artistry in dentistry to all of his patients. Dr. Townsan’s enthusiasm for dentistry remains motivated by a genuine concern for his patient’s dental health and his expertise in helping them maintain, restore, or create a beautiful smile.

Dr. Townsan also believes in sharing his years of experience and expertise with the community and does so by donating one day a month to care for patients at the Cerebral Palsy Clinic in Seattle. There he supervises University of Washington Dental students as they provide exceptional care for these special clients, in addition to providing direct hands on care himself.

In his spare time, Dr. Townsan enjoys marathon bicycling, fishing, swing dancing, horseback riding, scuba diving, and underwater photography. You may see some of his work when you visit our office.
